Are you passionate about securing resources to support the growth and development of nursery schools? We are seeking a dynamic and experienced individual to join our team as a Nursery School Funding Manager.  
We have a site in Bridlington, Beverley, Hedon and Hornsea; the post holder will regularly work on site at a base school, checking in regularly with the other schools and have the ability to work from home. 
Job Summary: As the Nursery School Funding Manager, you will be at the forefront of sourcing grants and managing funding to ensure the continued success of our nursery school. This multifaceted role involves researching and identifying potential grants, managing the application process, actively promoting the school through advertising initiatives, and fostering strong connections with parents and the community. Effective communication with our four schools is paramount to success in this role.

Job Term:              Permanent starting ASAP

Hours:                   33.5 hours - This appointment will be over 5 days (Monday – Friday) post with key worker responsibility.

Due to an increase in numbers, we require a full time Nursery Nurse/Key Teacher to join our fabulous maintained nursery school within the heart of the Hedon Community.  Our amazing School, has just been rated outstanding and we are looking for someone who is enthusiastic, motivated and shares our child centred vision. We are a welcoming school with a friendly, enthusiastic and supportive staff team, an ambitious and dynamic Senior Leadership Team and a dedicated Governing Body.

 

In our latest Ofsted inspection, inspectors commented on the school ethos of “Children first” is more than just words.

 

We are a trauma informed Nursery School who prides itself on Creating an environment where children can build a strong self of wellbeing. The successful candidate will support these values and practices and support our children to become confident and resilient learners. We are part of an East Riding collaboration of Nursery schools, allowing us to benefit from a wealth of expertise across our four nurseries, as well as enabling us to provide opportunities for the sharing of good practice and high-quality training.

 

We are looking for an enthusiastic, committed and hard-working applicant who has a good understanding of the principles of the EYFS and secure child development knowledge.

 

The role will include responsibility for a Key Worker group, supporting individuals and taking learning forward during child initiated play.  As part of our team you will support all aspects of the nursery including setting up and maintaining high quality provision inside and outside, health and safety checks, first aid, assessment and observation of children. 

The successful candidate will need to be flexible, enthusiastic and happy to work as part of a team.  Hedon Nursery School is committed to the safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and expects all staff and volunteers to share this commitment. All applicants will be interviewed by a panel and be observed working with children in the nursery setting by a member of the SLT. Each question will be scored as will practice and the highest scoring applicants will be appointed to the post.
