Wider Experiences
A Walk to the Library
Today's out-and-about session began with a scenic walk past the church, spotting familiar signs and logos along the way. After enjoying the sights, we headed to the library to explore and choose some interesting books.
We visited the Rats in Hedon
We took a walk to visit the Rat Sculpture on Market Hill, which was a public display of unique sculptures of Rats celebrating local artists.
Visits to St Augustine's Church
We visit the church regularly to enjoy the magnificent building, especially to celebrate, Harvest, Christingles and Easter.
Visits to Care Home
We took a walk to a local care home and sang Christmas song for the residents.
Community Kindness
The children made Christmas cards for our local residents and enjoyed posting these locally. We also left books around the
town centre for local people to find and enjoy.
Local Professionals
The children enjoy visits from police, fire fighters, including viewing a fire engine and loved turning on the fire hose.
Local Walks
We often go for walks in the local area, including Ivy Lane nature walk, visiting shops and enjoying our local town.
